Crusin' Around the Caribbean

Image
Boarding the 'Jewel of the Seas' - it as huge to say the least Inside the ship - it had 13 floors and 7 lifts...in a ship...just let that sink in for a minute One of the five islands we visited, St Kitts St Dickinson's Beach - Antigua ft. mother's feet St Marteen's where the beach was situated next to a airport runway Stall shop on St Dickinson's Beach in Antigua Catamaran trip around Barbados, snorkeling for turtles Well hello there!  As part of this travelling adventure I took over the summer, we spent a week on a huge Royal Caribbean Cruise sailing around the Caribbean via Puerto Rico. It was an amazing experience where we visited St Marteen, St Kitts's, St Lucia, Antigua and Barbados and each were as beautiful as the next with their own character and fantastic people. The cruise was luxurious with formal dinners and personal waiters and way too much food but the it was unbelievable to wake up each morning on a di

REVIEW: Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

Image
Well hey there! So a few weeks back I discovered this little beauty on offer in Boots and couldn't resist with word on the street that is was a high street dupe of Bioderma. With the incentive to take better care of my skin I purchased this along with some cotton pads for no more than £5.00. I really like this product as it removes all my make-up (even the tough waterproof stuff) with a couple of swipes of a cotton pad and leaves my skin feeling soooo clean and refreshed. The water has such a clean smell and the product simply dissolves on your skin. Overall:- Great product, does what it says on the label, and leaves my skin squeaky clean and completely dry and a great step up for those who use make up wipes and want a better/cleaner way of removing make-up. Let me know if you have ever tried this product, or similar ones. Thanks for reading! x

New York City

Image
We took a sunset boat trip on the Hudson River and the views were unreal Strawberry Pancakes at George's on Greenwich St. They were so goooood! My parents surprised my sister and I with a helicopter trip around the city. It was the craziest experience and the views were unbelievable. Selfie ft. half dad's face. Empire State of Mind Views from the Empire State.  The best bakery in NYC - hands down! I got the Chocolate Cupcake, my sister got a Strawberry Mousse cake that was the size of her face and my parents shared a Pecan and Caramel Cheesecake. Absolute heaven! How could I not go all the way to New York and not stop by a Sephora. This is Sephora on Times Square. Times Square at night - Our hotel was only a block away so we spent most of our time here and witnessed some of the weirdest people, including a naked all-singing-all-dancing granny... Shake Shack - oh my gawd! The American Museum of Natural History Shot

Recent Favourites

Image
Well hey there! It's been awhile to say the least, but the break from blogging has definitely given me a chance to discover some new favourites and I've managed to widdle down to these six. Beauty related favourites are the Revlon Lip Butters. So yes, I know there's no need to tell how late I am to the bandwagon with these but they are literally so perfect for summer. Their colour range is amazing and they are so light and wearable, I basically worn them everyday.  Revlon Lip Butter - Boots - £7.99 OGX Nourishing Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage Serum is perfect, it does exactly what it says only better, making my hair super smooth and sleek and leaves it smelling, well, exactly like a coconut. OGX Nourishing Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage Serum - Boots - £6.99 I've been searching long and hard for a big, beautiful silver necklace and alas I found one in Lord behold a Primark. This is so great for summer and is definitely a staple piece that can

Nike Air Force 1

Image
Hey there! After eyeing up these beauties for months and then seeing the beautiful Sammi from BeautyCrush make a styling video for them I thought I'd part with the little amount of money I have (more like had) and buy them. They finally came this morning and they are even more beautiful in real life (yes I'm aware they are only shoes, but still).  They are so versatile and comfy. They go with jeans, shorts, leggings and are so perfect for spring-summer. I can't wait to start putting outfits together with these. I can only sing praises for the Nike Air Force 1 and just glad I finally have my hands on them. These were bought from JD Sport for £50.00 in the Nike Air Force 1 Lo Junior in a size 5 for anyone who's interested. Thanks for reading! x

Healthy Eating

Image
Hey there! So just a short post today of some of the healthy meals I've been loving. Eating differently has certainly had an impact on my life, even from drinking more water on a daily basis has had an effect, but combined with nutritious and healthy meals it has really improved my skin and I feel much less tired, and certain foods have even helped curb cravings for chocolate and junk food. Every year, around this time I always re-discover health eating and get obsessed. By eating lighter and not stuffing my body with heavy, processed foods and drinks I feel so much better and I know everything I eat is doing me good. Don't get me wrong though, I'm still human and I still have my moments of weakness, especially when it comes to sweets or desserts, but eating healthy all the rest of the time makes having a splurge on things like chocolate or ice cream once in a while so much better and worth while. This is just a few meals I've captured over the last week and thoug

Mini Manchester Haul

Image
Well hey there! So this post has been a long time coming and I've missed being able to post regularly due to copious amounts of work that are never ending, but here it is my mini Manchester haul, or in other words stuff I bought that I didn't really need. Firstly I went into H&M and needed a few basic things for spring, so I got a black and white stripe mid-sleeve top and a baggy super soft grey jumper to go with jeans or shorts and shirts. I also spotted this fine gold chain with a cross on my way to the checkout and just couldn't leave it there. I try to restrict myself when it comes to clothing otherwise I end up with tons of stuff I never wear and no money, not a good plan. Of course I had to pop into Lush and pick up my favourite bath ballistic 'Sex Bomb' which smells aaamazing and makes the bath water pink with that little flower bobbing around on the surface. I also fancied a face mask since I felt my skin needed a treat and so opted f

Weekend in Manchester

Image
Well hey there! So this weekend my family and I ventured out to Manchester to watch the Manchester City Vs Chelsea game to celebrate my dad's birthday. We left on the Friday and stayed at the Travelodge smack in the center of the city itself which was so lovely. The room was very clean and modern and me and Naomi (my sister) had a pretty decent view. The game was on Saturday so we spend the rest of Friday night at T.G.I Friday's, which lets face it is the best place ever! I got a Jack Daniel's Burger (of course) and unfortunately the excitement of the food and my hunger must have gotten the better of me because I forgot to take photos :-( But take my word for it, it was amazing! The next day we spent it shopping - yay! I got myself some lovely bits and bobs that I've wanted for ages, especially from Lush, so another post might be needed. Then we made our way to the match, and I was all kitted out in my hoodie and scarf. I've never be
