I'm Lauren, I'm 17 and I live on a tiny island in North Wales obsessed with anything beauty, fashion, travel or movie related, ooh and food related of course. (Duh.)

Living in a quiet and pretty boring part of the country has almost forced me to want to travel to other parts of the world, and so I literally count down the days until I can escape and go off to university. I study History, English at A-level in my secondary school sixth form, and I'm pretty sure all the work is driving me insane. However all my efforts are focused on moving away to university to take a Journalism course and become a Journalism which is my ultimate dream. Being happy is really important to me too, to everyone I'm sure, however sometimes I really struggle to stay positive and so being happy is something I also aspire for the future.

In among trying to take over the world with my writing talents (sarcasm), I'm obsessed with putting outfits together and only wish I owned millions just to buy more clothes to put together. My current super-obsession is black boots, which is slowly becoming unhealthy and making me very poor. Make-up is a serious passion of mine and I love to experiment with different looks (hmm typical girl much) but in all honesty, let's face it, no-make-up days will forever be the best.

I have two fluent languages I use daily, English and Welsh although being able to speak Welsh gets pretty pointless once you pass Wrexham nowadays but I'd love to be able speak Spanish.

So if you've actually made it all the way through my ramblings and got to this point, I'd basically sum up that I want to write, travel, learn Spanish and be happy. I hope you enjoy my posts and if you want to know anything about anything please leave me a comment.

Well hey there! I thought I'd slip in a blog post between homeworks and coursework and tell you all about this unbelievable mascara from Benefit. Benefit is my favourite brand of make-up and always produces amazing products and so I can't rave about this mascara enough and encourage anyone who is looking for a new mascara to definitely give this a try.  I wear this mascara everyday and it never fails to make my lashes look amazing (if I do say so myself). NARS Sheer Glow Foundation / Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer

Well hello there! Today I wanted to show my favourite (and in my opinion the best) foundation and concealer around. The NARS Sheer Glow Foundation and the Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer are the perfect combination for a minimal make-up look, or when built up great for special occasions. On days when I'm too lazy to bother with a full face of make-up, I use the Collection Concealer on its own to cover-up any blemishes (which are a constant on my face) and dark circles. This product is highly pigmented and has such a good coverage but still has a natural look. In this concealer I am a shade Light 2. Again and again I go back to this product and in my opinion it is amazing. The applicator is easy to use and great for applying under the eyes and the packaging is simple. The only thing I would change about this product is making it bigger, so it would last longer and spare me the time of going out and repeatedly buying new ones. Having

Daisy by Marc Jacobs / The Body Shop Eau De Toilette

Well hey there! So January has finally gone, and good riddance because spring/summer can't come any sooner! As my little reminder of the warmer months, I've been indulging in two gorgeous scents, Daisy by Marc Jacobs (of course) and my new discovery thanks to my sister, The Body Shop Eau De Toilette in Moringa. Most people know the lovely collection of perfumes Marc Jacobs has but I will forever stay faithful to Daisy and has always been a stern favourite of mine. This is a 50ml bottle from Debenhams, and if you aren't a fan of the smell (how could you not!) the packaging alone amazing, you can't go wrong with some white and gold flowers. With its sweet but sophisticated scent this perfume always brings me back to summer. The next scent I've been obsessed with this month is The Body Shop Eau De Toilette in Moringa.
