Something I have come to appreciate now that I live in the hustle and bustle of a city is returning home to the slow pace of the countryside. Now that I'm home from uni at Liverpool for Easter I decided me and my friend (who's also at Liverpool) should explore our surroundings a bit more and take in the natural beauty and some well-needed fresh air. 
My amateur iPhone shots do not do these places justice because the peace and serenity of just being here is impossible to capture. I sometimes forget what a wonderful place Anglesey and North Wales  is and places like this remind me what a privilege it is to live here and be only a 20 minute drive away from a beach or even a waterfall. 
Sure it may look grey and dull to some people but to me it is home. The mountains, the rivers, the sea. It's all part of where I'm from, and until you've actually been here and experienced the peacefulness of simply sitting on the rocking shore of Penmon or hiking up the trek to Aber Falls and its jaw-dropping views, it's difficult to describe what it's actually like. 
Although living in a city is a dream of mine and a great thing to experience, being at home will never compare to it.

    I had this dream to visit a place like this and spend hours there all alone in peace. Nature is so beautiful which we all should explore whenever we get time. Thank you for sharing it with us

Well hey there! I thought I'd slip in a blog post between homeworks and coursework and tell you all about this unbelievable mascara from Benefit. NARS Sheer Glow Foundation / Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer

Well hello there! Today I wanted to show my favourite (and in my opinion the best) foundation and concealer around. The NARS Sheer Glow Foundation and the Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer are the perfect combination for a minimal make-up look, or when built up great for special occasions. On days when I'm too lazy to bother with a full face of make-up, I use the Collection Concealer on its own to cover-up any blemishes (which are a constant on my face) and dark circles. This product is highly pigmented and has such a good coverage but still has a natural look. In this concealer I am a shade Light 2. Again and again I go back to this product and in my opinion it is amazing. The applicator is easy to use and great for applying under the eyes and the packaging is simple. The only thing I would change about this product is making it bigger, so it would last longer and spare me the time of going out and repeatedly buying new ones. Having

Well hey there! Huge apology for the lack of posts lately, school work is slowly taking over my life and leaving me with a non-existent social life and seriously sleep deprived. I wanted to make a commitment to myself to do a monthly favourites but I don't think that's ever going to be possible with my combination of laziness and an never-ending pile of work, so I thought I'd just drop a quick mention of what I've been using lately. So it isn't a lot but here are some recent discoveries of products/stuff I've become completely obsessed with starting with the Rimmel Lasting Finish Colour Rush in 'Not An Illusion'. This is great to wear on a day-to-day basis or for a school day look as it just gives a tint of colour but isn't too glossy.
