Summer '15

The Melissani Cave and Lake Most photographed beach in the world - Myrtos Beach Girls Holiday in Malia Aber Falls Hey there! So to say I've been away awhile is an understatement, but like always I return with a new found motivation for blogging and writing about the things I enjoy. This summer has been one of the best yet, with two holidays abroad and some wonderful trips and adventures with my friends I can say I've truly taken advantage of my very long summer. I wanted to share some photos and memories on this post before I start officially preparing for university which I'm attending in a couple of weeks.  For those wondering, I got into my first choice uni which was the University of Liverpool to study Communications and Media with a Minor in English and I honestly cannot wait.  Hope you all had a great summer and would love to know what plans you have for September.  x

Emma Stone Obsession

Image
Well hey there! After having a good old nosy at the Golden Globes dresses and sufficiently judged each one (harshly), I came across Emma Stone. For a long time I've had a huge obsession/girl crush on her and after seeing her Golden Globes outfit I remembered why. This then lead to a search back to The Amazing Spider Man 2 premiers where I realised I'm slightly obsessed with her style too, which has now lead me to this rather weird, but wonderful tribute to the beauty that is Emma Stone. Let me know if you share a similar obsession with a particular celeb and leave a comment below. Thanks for reading! x

Crusin' Around the Caribbean

Boarding the 'Jewel of the Seas' - it as huge to say the least Inside the ship - it had 13 floors and 7 lifts...in a ship...just let that sink in for a minute One of the five islands we visited, St Kitts St Dickinson's Beach - Antigua ft. mother's feet St Marteen's where the beach was situated next to a airport runway Stall shop on St Dickinson's Beach in Antigua Catamaran trip around Barbados, snorkeling for turtles Well hello there!  As part of this travelling adventure I took over the summer, we spent a week on a huge Royal Caribbean Cruise sailing around the Caribbean via Puerto Rico. It was an amazing experience where we visited St Marteen, St Kitts's, St Lucia, Antigua and Barbados and each were as beautiful as the next with their own character and fantastic people. The cruise was luxurious with formal dinners and personal waiters and way too much food but the it was unbelievable to wake up each morning on a di...

REVIEW: Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

Image
Well hey there! So a few weeks back I discovered this little beauty on offer in Boots and couldn't resist with word on the street that is was a high street dupe of Bioderma. With the incentive to take better care of my skin I purchased this along with some cotton pads for no more than £5.00. I really like this product as it removes all my make-up (even the tough waterproof stuff) with a couple of swipes of a cotton pad and leaves my skin feeling soooo clean and refreshed. The water has such a clean smell and the product simply dissolves on your skin. Overall:- Great product, does what it says on the label, and leaves my skin squeaky clean and completely dry and a great step up for those who use make up wipes and want a better/cleaner way of removing make-up. Let me know if you have ever tried this product, or similar ones. Thanks for reading! x

New York City

Image
We took a sunset boat trip on the Hudson River and the views were unreal Strawberry Pancakes at George's on Greenwich St. They were so goooood! My parents surprised my sister and I with a helicopter trip around the city. It was the craziest experience and the views were unbelievable. Selfie ft. half dad's face. Empire State of Mind Views from the Empire State.  The best bakery in NYC - hands down! I got the Chocolate Cupcake, my sister got a Strawberry Mousse cake that was the size of her face and my parents shared a Pecan and Caramel Cheesecake. Absolute heaven! How could I not go all the way to New York and not stop by a Sephora. This is Sephora on Times Square. Times Square at night - Our hotel was only a block away so we spent most of our time here and witnessed some of the weirdest people, including a naked all-singing-all-dancing granny... Shake Shack - oh my gawd! The American Museum of Natural History Shot...

Recent Favourites

Well hey there! It's been awhile to say the least, but the break from blogging has definitely given me a chance to discover some new favourites and I've managed to widdle down to these six. Beauty related favourites are the Revlon Lip Butters. So yes, I know there's no need to tell how late I am to the bandwagon with these but they are literally so perfect for summer. Their colour range is amazing and they are so light and wearable, I basically worn them everyday.  Revlon Lip Butter - Boots - £7.99 OGX Nourishing Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage Serum is perfect, it does exactly what it says only better, making my hair super smooth and sleek and leaves it smelling, well, exactly like a coconut. OGX Nourishing Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage Serum - Boots - £6.99 I've been searching long and hard for a big, beautiful silver necklace and alas I found one in Lord behold a Primark. This is so great for summer and is definitely a staple piece that can...
