Hey there!

So to say I've been away awhile is an understatement, but like always I return with a new found motivation for blogging and writing about the things I enjoy.

This summer has been one of the best yet, with two holidays abroad and some wonderful trips and adventures with my friends I can say I've truly taken advantage of my very long summer. I wanted to share some photos and memories on this post before I start officially preparing for university which I'm attending in a couple of weeks. 

For those wondering, I got into my first choice uni which was the University of Liverpool to study Communications and Media with a Minor in English and I honestly cannot wait.

Well hello there! Today I wanted to show my favourite (and in my opinion the best) foundation and concealer around. The NARS Sheer Glow Foundation and the Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer are the perfect combination for a minimal make-up look, or when built up great for special occasions. On days when I'm too lazy to bother with a full face of make-up, I use the Collection Concealer on its own to cover-up any blemishes (which are a constant on my face) and dark circles. This product is highly pigmented and has such a good coverage but still has a natural look. In this concealer I am a shade Light 2. Again and again I go back to this product and in my opinion it is amazing. The applicator is easy to use and great for applying under the eyes and the packaging is simple. Well hey there! I want to begin by wishing all of you a happy new year and hope you went into the new year surrounded by family and friends and glasses of champagne. I would love to hear how everyone celebrated the beginning of 2014. Now this is one of my new year's resolutions that I am definitely sticking to this year, and that is to start posting much more often (because as usual I don't see eating healthily and working out more is going to last long), and so I thought I would kick off the new year with a post on my new favourite lipstick, MAC Russian Red. Benefit They're Real! Mascara

Well hey there! I thought I'd slip in a blog post between homeworks and coursework and tell you all about this unbelievable mascara from Benefit. Benefit is my favourite brand of make-up and always produces amazing products and so I can't rave about this mascara enough and encourage anyone who is looking for a new mascara to definitely give this a try.  I wear this mascara everyday and it never fails to make my lashes look amazing (if I do say so myself). It ticks all the boxes for length, volume and curl and the 'jet-black' colour stands out no matter how long you wear it. Whenever I use a mascara that isn't waterproof I always end up with black smudges under my eyes which always use to annoy me and made it so difficult to find a good mascara, but with Benefit They're Real! mascara I've never had this problem which really surprised, because it was the first non-waterproof mascara that I could wear all day without any smudges.
